Inhalt: CMOS RFICs for consumer markets must meet strict requirements on cost, dynamic range and power consumption with a minimum number of external components. These constraints are exemplified by networking products like Bluetooth and GSM mobile telephones which have cost targets of a few dollars per chip and sales volumes of millions per year. The presentation shows architectures and circuit topologies that have been developed to meet these requirements.
